Our Story

Matcon Limited, a privately owned company, was formed in 2001 and is located in heart of the petroleum and industrial area of Trinidad and Tobago. It was founded by Mr. Ganesh Matadeen to provide transportation services to both international and local companies operating in the oil and gas sector in Trinidad and Tobago. Mr. Matadeen’s initiative to start this company was driven by a family tradition of working in transportation. The company started with the purchase of one dumper truck and oil tanker truck in 2001 and solely because of Mr. Matadeen’s entrepreneurial spirit, the company expanded over the years to be a key strategic service provider in vacuum and oil tanker trucks, heavy transportation, excavation, drill site and road construction and welding and fabrication.
